Who does not like to take a leave from the daily hectic routine and set out to see the world? Of course, everyone does. Similar goes with inspirational travel quotes. George Bernard Shaw was born on July 26, 1856, in Dublin. He was an Irish playwright, literary critic, comic dramatist and political activist for socialism. So impressive were his contributions that he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1925, but he refused the prize money (he had no desire for public honors). He was highly influential across generations for his wit and intelligent critiques. He died on November 2, 1950.

“People travel to faraway places to watch, in fascination, the kind of people they ignore at home” – Dagobert D. Runes
